The responsibilities of the Maintenance Division consists of preventive maintenance and repairs to all vehicles used by the Kenosha Fire Department.

36 vehicles currently in service:

  • 2 Command Vehicles
  • 12 Cars and Light Duty Trucks
  • 7 Fire Engines
  • 3 Trucks
  • 7 Advanced Life Support Ambulances
  • 5 Special Purpose Vehicles

Also, this division maintains all tools related such as chain saws, onboard generators, pumps, gas-fired smoke ejectors, TNT rescue tools (Jaws of Life), nozzles, hoses, and hand tools.

Other duties at a station level include plowing, repair and service of generators at each of the seven (7) stations.  We also run an apprentice program through a local high school.
